เปรียบเทียบยมทูตฝรั่งกับไทย

เรื่องราวของนรก ที่น่าเอามาเรียนศัพท์ภาษา มีมากมาย เราไม่ค่อยรู้เรื่องศัพท์แสงเค้าเท่าใหร่ เพราะยังไม่เคยไปนรกฝรั่งมาก่อน รู้แต่ของไทย ที่มีคนเคยไปมาเล่าให้ฟัง นรกของฝรั่ง น่าจะไม่มีอีกาปากเหล็ก ต้นงิ้ว คนที่ทําบาปเป็นชู้ เข้าใจว่า ต้องลงไปแช่บ่อนํ้ากรดให้แสบ ว่างั้นเถอะ

 

 

     A man died and was
taken to his place of eternal torment by the Devil. As he passed sulphurous pits and shrieking sinners, he saw a man he recognised as a lawyer snuggling up
to a beautiful woman.
“That’s unfair!” he cried. “I have to roast for all eternity, and that lawyer gets to spend it with a beautiful woman!”
“Shut up!” barked the Devil, jabbing the man with his pitchfork. “Who are you to question that woman’s punishment?”

A man died  ชายคนหนึ่งตาย

 

and was taken to  แล้วก็โดนนำตัวไป

 

 his place of eternal torment  ที่ที่เขาต้องโดนทรมาณ ไปชั่วนิรันดร ( ต้องเป็นนรก แน่นอน)

 

 by the Devil. โดย ยมทูต  

 

As he passed ระหว่างที่เดินผ่าน

 

sulphurous pits บ่อนำกรด

 

and shrieking sinners, ท่ามกลางเสียงโหยหวน ของพวกคนบาป ที่โดนทรมาณ

 

 he saw a man  ก็เหลือบไปเห็น

 

 he recognised คนที่เค้าจำได้

 

as a lawyer ว่าเป็น ทนายความ

 

snuggling up กำลัง ลูบไล้ ล้วงขยำ  ปลุกเซ็กซ์  ( ไม่มีบอกว่า Executed หรือเผด็จศึก...ผิดสังเกตุแบบนี้ ต้องมีอะไรแน่ๆ)
to a beautiful woman. สาวสวยคนหนึ่ง
“That’s unfair!”  แบบนี้ มันไม่ยุติธรรม ครับท่านประธาน

 

he cried. เขาโวยเสียงดัง

 

“I have to roast  ผมต้องโดนย่างเหมือนไก่ย่าง

 

 for all eternity,   ไปชั่วนิรันดร

 

 and that lawyer  ไอ้ทนายความนั่น

 

 gets to spend it    กลับได้ใช้เวลา

 

 with a beautiful woman!”  อยู่กับสาวสวย

 

“Shut up!”  หุบปาก

 

barked the Devil, ยมทูตตวาด ( เห่า ...คนเขียนพยายามสร้างจิณตนาการ ว่ายมทูต ดุเหมือนหมา )

 

 jabbing the man ทิ่มไปที่ชายคนนั้น

 

with his pitchfork. ด้วยหอก สามง่าม แบบที่เห็นในรูป

 

“Who are you  มึงเป็นใคร

 

to question ที่จะมาตั้งคําถาม

 

that woman’s punishment?” เกี่ยวกับการทรมาณผู้หญิงคนนี้
