                               วันนี้เรามาเรียนคําศัพท์ stumble  ที่แปลว่า เดินสะโหลสะเหลไปเจอเข้ากับ....หรือไปสดุดเข้ากับ.....   ไปตกหลุมรัก  ไปตกถังข้าวสารคอหักตาย หรืออะไรทํานองนั้น ดู ยูทูป คลิ๊บนี้ จะเข้าใจดีขึ้น    stumbling in ใช้กับหลุม เช่นหลุมรัก ส่วน stumble upon เดินไปชน คล้ายกับ stumble across

                         A man stumbles upon a little girl’s lemonade stand and asks, “How much for a glass?”
“First one’s 25 cents,” she responds. He hands her the money, downs the lemonade, and asks for another.
“The second cup is $25,” she states. Confused, the man asks why.
The girl says, “This one has the antidote.

a little girl’s lemonade stand  โตํะขายนํ้ามะนาวคั้นของเด็กผู้หญิงตัวน้อยๆ

and asks, ก็เลยถามว่า
“How much for a glass?” แก้วละเท่าใหร่
“First one’s 25 cents,” แก้วแรก ยี่สิบห้าเซ็นต์
she responds. เด็กน้อยตอบ
He hands her the money, ชายคนนั้นก็ส่งสตางค์ให้เด็ก
downs the lemonade, แล้วก็ดื่มมันลงไป
 and asks for another. เสร็จแล้วก็ขออีกแก้ว
“The second cup is $25,” แก้วที่สองนี่ ราคา ยี่สิบห้าเหรียญ
she states. เด็กผู้หญิงตัวน้อยบอก
 Confused, งงเต๊ก
the man asks why. ชายคนนั้นก็ถามว่าไหงยังงั้นละ
The girl says, เด็กผู้หญิงก็ตอบว่า
“This one has the antidote.” แก้วนี้ใส่ยาถอนพิษให้
