Like father, like son

A bloke snoozing one afternoon in the upstairs bedroom when his wife calls up to him, “Michael! Michael! The sun’s finally come out!”
Delighted, he strips off, then chucks on a pair of thongs, budgie smugglers and a Hawaiian shirt over the top, before rushing down the stairs.
In the living room, Michael’s wife is standing with the couple’s son, who’s holding hands with another guy.
The wife looks from her husband to her son and cries in dismay, “Oh no, not your dad, too!”

he strips off, เขาแก้ผ้าออกหมด

 then จากนั้น

chucks on ก็ใส่

 a pair of thongs, รองเท้าแตะ

 budgie smugglers  เป็น สแลง แปลว่า กางเกงในรัดรูปตัวจิ๋ว ดูรูป

and a Hawaiian shirt และก็เสื้อฮาวาย

over the top,สวมใส่ท่อนบน

 before ก่อนที่จะ

rushing down วิ่งพรวดลงมา

 the stairs. ตามบันใด
In the living room,เข้ามาในห้องรับแขก

 Michael’s wife ภรรยาของไมเคิ๊ล

is standing กำลังยืนอยู่

 with กับ

the couple’s son, ลูกชายของทั้งสอง

who’s holding hands ผู้ซึ่งกำลังกุมมือ

with another guy. กับชายอีกคนหนึ่ง
The wife ภรรยา

looks from มองจาก

her husband สามีเธอ

 to her son ไปยังลูกชาย

 and cries แล้วก็ร้องคร่าครวญ

in dismay, อย่างขมขื่น

 “Oh no, โอ้..ไม่

 not your dad, ไม่ใช่พ่อของแก

 too!” อีกคนนะ

            เรื่องของเรื่อง มันมาจาก คำพูดที่ว่า The sun’s finally come out!” แปลว่า ในที่สุดแดดก็ออกมาจนได้...  มันไปออกเสียงตรงกับ The son finally come out!” ที่ฝรั่งนิยมพูดกัน เมื่อลูกชายออกมาสารภาพว่าเป็นเกย์....ส่วนพ่อก็นึกว่าแดดออกแล้ว ..รอมาหลายวัน แก้ผ้าแล้วใส่รองเท้าแตะใส่กางเกงในตัวจิ๋ว ที่พวกเกย์นิยมใส่กัน สวมเสื้อเชิ๊ตฮาวาย ดูไปแล้วเหมือนพวกเกย์ แม่ก็เลยลมจับ คิดว่าสารภาพหมดทั้งคู่ ทั้งพ่อทั้งลูก
