During smoko, a bloke asks his mate if he can bum a cigarette. 
“What happened to your so-called New Year’s resolution to give up the ciggies?” the pal says with a raised brow. 
“Oh, I’m still sticking by my resolution. I’m just in phase one of quitting.” 
“What’s phase one?” asks the mate. 
“It’s where I’ve stopped buying my own.”
