เรื่องนี้จำไม่ได้แล้วว่าเคยลงหรือยังถ้าลงแล้วคิดว่าเอามาจําศัพท์ก็แล้วกัน

The Slab
           A father buys a lie detector robot that slaps people when they lie. He decides to test it out at dinner one night. The father asks his son what he did that afternoon. The son says I did some schoolwork.” The robot slaps the son. The son says, “I was at a friend’s house watching movies.
“What movie did you
watch?” asks the dad.
“Toy Story,” he replies.
The robot slaps the son. The son says, “Okay, we were watching porn.”
Dad says, “At your age I didn’t know what porn was.” The robot slaps the father.

Mum laughs and says, “Well... he certainly your son” and the robot slaps her.

แปลว่า ตัวตบ หรือการตบ แปลแบบไทยๆก็ต้องว่า ตบฝังใจ

( เราจะสังเกตุว่า The คำนี้ แปลว่า ไม่ธรรมดา เช่นคำว่า party ก็คือการจัดปารตี้ ธรรมดาๆ แต่ถ้าบอกว่า The party ก็คืองานปารตี้ที่ไม่ธรรมดา )
       

                  A father คุณพ่อคนหนึ่ง ( ชื่ออะไรไม่ได้บอกเอาไว้)

 when they lie. ทุกครั้งที่โกหก

at dinner one night. ตอนที่นั่งกินอาหารมื้อเย็นในคํ่าวันหนึ่ง

 The father asks his son คุณพ่อถามลูกชายว่า

 watching movies. ดูหนัง
“What movie did you watch?” หนังที่แกดูนั่นมันหนังอะไร

 asks the dad. พ่อถาม
“Toy Story,” he replies. ทอยสะตอรี่ ลูกชายตอบ
The robot slaps the son. หุ่นยนต์ตบอีก

The son says, ลูกชายก็พูดอีกว่า

“Okay, โอเค้..ๆ

we were watching porn.” เราดูหนังโป้กัน
Dad says, พ่อก็เอ่ยขึ้นว่า

“At your age ตอนที่พ่ออายุเท่าแก

I didn’t know พ่อยังไม่รู้ว่า

 what porn was.” หนังโป้คืออะไร

        The robot slaps the father. หุ่นยนต์ตบปากพ่อ

Mum laughs คุณแม่หัวเราะ ก๊าก..กั๊กๆๆ

 and says, แล้วก็พูดว่า

“Well, นี่ไง

 he is certainly your son” ไอ้นี่แหละลูกคุณร้อยเปอร์เซ็น (certainly = absolutely = convincingly = 100 % = ชัดๆเลย  แหงเลย  ถ้าพูดแบบไทยๆก็ต้องว่าร้อยโปเซ็ง)

and the robot slaps her. และแล้วก็โดนหุ่นยนต์ตบพลั๊วะเข้าให้ ( รายนี้น่าจะถึงกับตกเก้าอี้นะ)
