A CROSS WORD

A Catholic man gets on a plane and realises he’s
sitting with none other than the Pope.

The man politely greets the Pope, saying,
“Hello, your Holiness.”
The Pope welcomes him and goes back to his
crossword.

The man is nervous, worrying about doing something to offend the leader of his religion.
Halfway through the flight, the Pope leans over and asks,

“Would you happen to know a four-letter word for a girl that ends in U-N-T?” The man almost loses it.

 Of course, the “c” word jumps to mind. He pauses and turns white while searching his brain for a better word. In a flash it comes to him: “Aunt!” “Of course!” the Pope responds.
“Would you happen to have an eraser?”

A Catholic man ชายชาวแคโธหลิก
gets on a plane ขึ้นเครื่องบิน 
and realises แล้วก็รู้ตัวว่า
he’s sitting เขากําลังนั่ง
with อยู่กับ
none other than  คนที่เป็นใครไปไม่ได้นอกจาก
the Pope. ท่านสังราช หรือ ท่านโป๊ป

The man ชายคนนี้
politely greets ก็ทักทายอย่างมีมารยาทกับ
the Pope, ท่านโป๊ป
saying, พูดว่า
“Hello, สวัสดีครับ
your Holiness.” ท่านสังฆราช (Holiness โฮลลิเหนส  = Highness ไฮเหน็ส ของฆราวาสนั่นเอง) 
The Pope ท่านโป๊ป
welcomes him ก็ตอบรับเขา
and goes back to แล้วก็หันไปใส่ใจกับ
 his crossword. เกมส์อักษรไข้วของท่าน

The man is nervous, ชายคนนี้ รู้สึกตื่นเต้นและเครียด 
 worrying about กังวลใจเป็นห่วงว่าจะ
 doing something ทําอะไร
to offend ที่ไม่ถูกต้องกับ
the leader of his religion. ผู้นําทางศาสนาของเขา
Halfway through the flight, เรือบินๆไปได้ครึ่งทาง
the Pope  ท่านโป๊ป
leans over เอียงตัวมา
and asks,แล้วก็ถาม

“Would you happen คุณพอที่จะ
 to know รู้บ้างมั๊ย
a four-letter word ว่าอักษรสี่ตัว
for a girl สําหรับคนเพศหญิง
that ends ที่ลงท้าย
in U-N-T?” ด้วย ยู เอ็น ที
 The man ไอ้หนุ่ม
almost loses it. เกือบเผลอตัว

 Of course, แน่นอน
the “c” word อักษร ซี ( CUNT = คั้น หรือ ที่แปลว่า น้องจิ๋ม เป็นแสลงก็ใช้เรียกคนที่เราเกลียด) 
 jumps to mind. แว๊บเข้ามาในสมอง

He pauses  เขาอึ้งไปครู่หนึ่ง
and turns white  แถมหน้าซีด
while ในขณะที่
searching his brain ใช้สมองค้นหาคํา
for a better word. ที่เหมาะสมกว่า
 In a flash ชั่วแว๊บเดียว
 it comes to him: คํานั้นก็มาในสมอง
“Aunt!”  อ้านท์ ที่แปลว่า น้าสาว
 “Of course!” ก็น่านนะซิ ( อาตมาก็ว่าง้านแหละ) 
 the Pope responds. ท่านโป๊ปตอบ
“Would you happen to have คุณพอจะมี
an eraser?” ยางลบซักอันมั๊ย
