Imperfect vision
JIM’s eyesight had been getting worse over the years, to the point where he was nearly blind. Naturally, he was delighted when his doctor told him there was a radical new surgery available to reverse the blindness.
“The surgery is not without risk, though,” the doctor warned. “If we correct your vision, there’s a strong chance you’ll have trouble maintaining an erection.”
Jim was confused: “But what does that have to do with my eyes?”
The doctor answered, “Just wait till you get a proper look at your wife!”

 he was delighted ที่เขาต้องดีใจ ( delight  คำว่าดีไล้ท์ น่าจะมีต้นรากมาจากภาษาไทยนะ เพราะตรงกับคำว่าดีใจ น่าสงสัยว่าฝรั่งมาเมืองไทยสมัยพ่อขุนรามคำแหง  ได้ยินคนไทยพูด เลยเอาไปใช้ เพี้ยนมาเป็น ดีไล้ท์...น่าคิดมาก )

when his doctor เมื่อหมอประจำตัวเขา

told him บอกเขา

 available to  ที่คิดค้นขึ้นมาให้สำหรับ

 reverse the blindness. พลิกฟื้นสายตาที่บอดให้คืนดี (  reverse แปลว่าถอยกลับมา   )

is not without risk,ไม่มีการเสี่ยงอันตรายอะไร

 though,” แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม

 the doctor warned. คุณหมอเตือน

Jim was confused: จิมค่อนข้างจะงงๆ

The doctor answered, หมอตอบว่า
