อย่าว่าแต่คนไทยเลยที่ฟังคําบางคําฝรั่งไม่รู้เรื่อง  ฝรั่งเองก็ยังฟังกันเองเข้าใจผิดๆมีเหมือนกันเช่นเรื่องนี้

Buck wild

 

   Buck was down at his local watering hole one night and started having a yarn with an American tourist.
With a few schooners under his belt, he started waffling on about shooting kangaroos in the bush, back in his younger days. But the arrogant Yank was not impressed by his war stories.
“If you want to shoot real game, you should try hunting bear,” he remarked. “That’s what we do in the States.”
“Well, you Yanks are more game than I am!” Buck said admiringly. ‘ “I’ve never hunted bare, but I did go fishing one time in just me underpants!”

 Buck wild บั๊ค คือชื่อของไอ้บั๊ค wild วายลด์ คำนี้ แปลว่า ป่าก็ได้ แปลว่าดุร้ายหรือทำอะไรบ้าสุดๆ ก็ได้ ในเรื่องนี้เอามาล้อเลียน ....เรามาดูกัน

 by his war stories. เรื่องสงครามของเขา ( นี่ก็อุปมาอุปมัย ...ไปยิงจิงโจ้ เล่าซะจนตื่นเต้น เหมือนไปสงครามปานนั้น )
“If you want to ถ้าหากคุณอยากจะ

 

shoot real game,  = hunting  ล่าสัตว์จริงๆ

 

you should try hunting bear,” ควรลองล่าหมีดู

 

 he remarked. เขาออกความเห็น

 

“That’s what we do ไอ้นี่แหละ ที่เราทำกัน

 

 in the States.” ในอเมริกา
“Well, อึมมม

 

you Yanks คนอเมริกันแบบคุณ

 

are more game than I am!” มีประสบการณ์มากกว่าผม

 

 Buck said admiringly. บั๊คพูดอย่างยกย่อง

 

 “I’ve never hunted bare, ผมไม่เคยแก้ผ้าออกไปล่าสัตว์

 

but I did แต่ว่าผมเคย

 

go fishing ไปตกปลา

 

one time ครั้งนึง

 

in just me underpants!” ใส่แค่กางเกงใน

( bear  แบร์ แปลว่าหมี bare แบร์ แปลว่า ล่อนจ้อน ออกเสียงเหมือนกัน )
