Gone tubbing
Feeling stressed out, Dougie decided to take a long hot bath.
However, just as he’d made himself comfortable, the doorbell rang.
Dougie climbed out of the tub, wrapped a large towel around his waist, wrapped his head in a small towel, put on his slippers and went to the door.
When he opened it, he found it was a Mormon trying to sell him on religion, so Dougie slammed the door in his face and returned to his hot bath.
No soon had he climbed back in than there was another ring at the doorbell.
Dougie climbed out of the tub, wrappea a large towel around his waist, wrapped his head in a small towel, put on his slippers and trudged downstairs to answer the door.
This time, it was a cheerful bloke from an energy company trying to persuade him to change firms.
Slamming the door in his face, Dougie returned to his rapidly cooling bath.
Five minutes later, the doorbell rang again. Furious, he headed to the bathroom door, slipped on a wet patch and hurt his back when he crashed to the floor.
Cursing under his breath, Dougie slowly I got dressed and staggered to his local
medical clinic.
After examining him, the GP said, “You know, you were lucky, my friend. There are ‘ no bones broken. You just need to relax.
