     เรื่องนี้ เป็นเรื่องของชายพิการที่เข้าไปกินเหล้าในผับ ลองอ่านดูว่าเข้าใจขนาดใหน พรุ่งนี้จะมาแปลให้

       An armless man walked into a bar that was empty except for the bartender.

    He ordered a drink and when he was served, he asked the bartender to get the money from his wallet in his pocket, since he had no arms. The bartender obliged.
    He then asked if the bartender would tip the glass to his lips. The bartender did this until the man finished his drink. He then asked if the bartender would get a hanky from his pocket and wipe the foam from his lips.

     The bartender did this and commented that it must be very difficult not to have arms and have to ask someone to do nearly everything for him.
“Yes,’ said the man. “It is a bit embarrassing at times. By the way, where is your restroom?”
“The closest one is in the gas station three blocks down the street,” replied the barman quickly.

to get the money ช่วยหยิบเงิน

from จาก

his wallet กระเป๋าสตางค์ของเขา

in his pocket, ซึ่งอยู่ในกระเป๋ากางเกงของเขา

since เนื่องจาก

he had no arms. ขายคนนี้ไม่มีแขนทั้งสองข้าง

The bartender บาร์เทนเดอร์

obliged. ต้องรับเป็นภาระด้วยหลักมนุษยธรรม

(oblige อ๊อบ บไลจ์ มาจาก obligation อ๊อบบริเกชั่น แปลว่า ภาระผูกพันธ์ ซึ่งมีทั้ง ทางด้านมนุษยธรรม และคำมั่นสัญญา)
    He then จากนั้นเขา

asked ก็ขอให้

if the bartender  บาร์เทนเดอร์ช่วยเค้าหน่อยได้มั๊ย

would tip ช่วยกระดก

the glass แก้วเหล้า

to his lips. ใส่ริมฝีปากเขา

The bartender บาร์เทนเดอร์

did this ก็ทำตามที่เขาบอก

until จนกระทั่ง

the man ชายคนนี้

finished his drink. ดื่ม(เบียร์ของเขา )จนเสร็จ

He then asked จากนั้นเขาก็ขอ

 would get a hanky จะเอาผ้าเช็ดหน้า

from his pocket ออกมาจากกระเป๋ากางเกงของเขา

and wipe แล้วก็เช็ด

 the foam ฟอง(ในที่นี้คือฟองเบียร์)

from his lips. ออกจากริมฝีปากเขา

     The bartender บาร์เทนเดอร์

did this ก็ทำตามที่เขาบอก

and แล้วก็

commented that it ออกความเห็นว่าแบบนี้

must be จะต้อง

very difficult ลำบากมากเลย

not to ที่ไม่มี

have arms มือทั้งสองข้าง

and และ

have to จำเป็นที่ต้อง

ask ขอความช่วยเหลือจาก

someone คนอื่นหรือใครบางคน

to do มาทำ

nearly everything แทบจะทุกอย่าง

 for him. ให้เขา
“Yes” ถูกต้องคร๊าบ

said the man. ไอ้หนุ่มบอก

“It is อย่างว่า

a bit embarrassing มันก็อายๆเหมือนกัน

at times. ทุกครั้งนั่นแหละครับ

By the way, อ้า..ก่อนที่จะคุยเรื่องอื่นต่อ

where is your restroom?”     ห้องนํ้าของคุณไปทางใหนครับ
“The closest one อันที่ใกล้ที่สุด

is in the gas station อยู่ในปั๊มนํ้ามัน

three blocks สามช่วงตึก

(block บล๊อก แปลว่ากล่อง แปลว่าช่วงตึก ต่างประเทศ เวลาเค้าร่างผังเมือง จะต้องมีถนนล้อมรอบ ช่วงตึก เผื่อคนขับรถเลย จะสามารถเลี้ยวซ้ายข้างหน้ากลับมาที่เก่าได้ง่ายๆ  )

down the street,” ไปตามถนน

 replied the barman quickly. บารเทนเดอร์รีบตอบอย่างรวดเร็ว
