อินเดียแดงเจ้ากรรม

               A cowboy is riding along a trail and sees an Indian lying on his stomach with his ear to the ground. As he gets closer, he hears the Indian saying to himself, “Wagon... two grey horses, two passengers1 man and woman... man driving.”
               The cowboy goes “You can tell all that by just putting your ear to the ground?” The Indian replies,
“No. Wagon pass half hour ago, run me over.”

            A cowboy คาวบอยคนหนึ่ง

 is riding along   กำลังขี่ม้าไปตาม

a trail  ทางเกวียน

 and sees an Indian   แล้วก็เห็นอินเดียนแดงคนหนึ่ง

 lying on his stomach นอนควํ่าหน้า

 with his ear to the ground. หูแนบกับพื้น

 As he gets closer, เมื่อใกล้เข้าไป

he hears  ก็ได้ยิน

 the Indian saying to himself,  อินเดียนแดงคนนั้นพูดกับตัวเอง

 “Wagon...  รถม้า

 two grey horses,  ม้าสีเทา สองตัว

 two passengers   ผู้โดยสารสองคน

 man and woman... ผู้ชายกับผู้หญิง

man driving.” ผู้ชายเป็นคนขับ
 The cowboy goes คาวบอยอุทานว่า

“You can tell all that  แกสามารถบอกรายละเอียดทั้งหมดได้ขนาดนี้

by just putting your ear  แค่เอาหูแนบ

to the ground?” กับพื้น เน๊๊ยะนะ

The Indian replies, อินเดียแดงตอบว่า
           “No. ไม่ใช่หรอก

Wagon รถม้า

pass half hour ago, แล่นผ่านไปเมื่อครึ่งชั่วโมงที่แล้วนี่เอง

 run me over.” แล่นทับกูไป
