A group of kindergarten kids were being taught how to behave like “big people”. Their teacher, Miss Maple, banned baby talk in the classroom, instructing them, “Let’s talk about what we did on the weekend. And remember, you must always use
‘big people’ words.’
Billy began by saying, “I went to see my nan-nan.”
“No!” scolded Miss Maple. “You must use ‘big people’ words! You went to see your grandmother.”
Jenny stood next and said, “I had a choo-chOO ride.”
“No!” cried Miss Maple. “You must use ‘big people’ words! You went on a train ride!”
It was LII’ Johnny’S turn next.
“I read a book,” he told the class. “Wonderful!” cried the teacher, surprised and delighted. “What was the book called? And remember to use ‘big people’ words.”
UI’ Johnny thought hard, then puffed out his chest with pride and announced, “Itwas called Winnie The shit.”

อาด๊อลท์ แลงเกวจ คำนี้ คือภาษาพูดของผู้ใหญ่ ส่วนมากจะคิดไปในแบบภาษา x ทำนองนั้น แบบที่ฝรั่งเรียกว่า profenity โปรเฟ๊นนะตี๊

ที่แปลว่า ลามก หยาบคายปานนั้น คนเขียนเรื่องนี้เอามาใช้เป็นแบบสองแง่สองคม แต่ในเนื้อเรืองไม่ใช่..เรามาดูกัน

 banned baby talk ห้ามการพูดแบบเด็กๆ ( กูๆกาๆทำนองนั้น ผมก็ไม่ค่อยรู้เท่าใหร่เพราะไม่เคยเป็นเด็กมาก่อน เกิดมาปุ๊บก็แก่เลย เลยไม่ค่อยรู้เรื่องแบบนี้)

in the classroom, ในชั้นเรียน

 instructing them, แล้วก็สั่งให้เด็กพวกนี้

“Let’s talk about  เรามาพูดเรื่องเกี่ยวกับ

 what we did เรื่องที่เราไปทำกันมา

on the weekend. ในตอนวันหยุด ( เสาร์อาทิตย์)

 And remember, แล้วก็ต้องจำไว้นะว่า

Billy began บิลลี่เริ่มก่อน

 by saying,โดยพูดว่า

 “I went to see ผมไปเยี่ยม

 my nan-nan.” ยายผม
“No!” ไม่ได้ไม่ได้

scolded Miss Maple. มิสเมเปิ๊ล ร้องเสียงหลง( ตะคอก) 

 “You must use เธอจะต้องใช้

 ‘big people’ words! ภาษาแบบผู้ใหญ่

 You went to see เธอไปเยี่ยม

 your grandmother.” ยายมาของเธอมา
Jenny stood next เจนนี่ ลุกขึ้นยืนเป็นคนต่อมา

 and said, แล้วก็บอกว่า

“I had a choo-choo ride.” หนูไปนั่งรถไฟมา

“No!” cried Miss Maple. ไม่ได้อีกนั่นแหละมิสเมเปิ๊ลบอกเสียงดัง

“You must use พวกเธอจะต้องใช้

You went on a train ride!” เธอไปนั่งรถไฟมา
It was untill’ จนกระทั่งมาถึง

 Johnny’S turn next. คราวของจอนนี่บ้าง
“I read a book,” ผมอ่านหนังสือ

 he told the class. จอนนี่บอกกับทุกคนในชั้นเรียน

“Wonderful!” เยี่ยมมาก

cried the teacher, ครูพูดเสียงดัง

 surprised ทั้งทึ่ง

 and delighted. ทั้งดีใจ

 “What was the book called? หนังสือชื่ออะไร

And remember to use แล้วก็อย่าลืมนะว่าต้องใช้

‘big people’ words.” คำพูดแบบผู้ใหญ่
Umm’ Johnny  อึมมม...จอนนี่

 thought hard, คิดหนัก

then puffed out his chest จากนั้นก็โพล่งออกมาแบบสุดหัวใจ

with pride ด้วยความภาคภูมิใจ

and announced, พร้อมกับประกาศว่า

“It was called หนังสือเล่นนั้นชื่อว่า

Winnie The shit.” วินนี่เดอะชิต ( ชื่อจริงๆคือ Winnie the poo)
