The monkey

A police officer came upon a terrible car crash where two people had been killed. As he looked at the wreckage a little monkey came out of the brush and hopped around the crashed car.
The officer looked down at the monkey and said," I wish you could talk." 

The monkey looked up at the officer and nodded his head.
‘You can understand what I’m saying?’ asked the officer. Again, the monkey nodded.
‘Well, did you see what happened?’
The monkey nodded. He pretended to have a can in his hand and turned it up to his mouth.
‘They were drinking?’ asked the officer.
The monkey nodded.
The monkey then pinched his fingers together and held them to his mouth, sucking deeply.
‘They were smoking marijuana too?’ asked the officer.
The monkey nodded. He made a sexual sign with his fingers.
‘So they were playing around as well!?’ asked the astounded officer.
Again, the monkey nodded.
‘Now wait, you’re saying your owners were drinking, smoking and playing around before they wrecked the car?’
The monkey nodded.
‘What were you doing during all this?’ asked the officer.
The monkey held up his hands on an imaginary steering wheel.

(car crash แปลว่ารถชนกัน )
where two people ที่ซึ่งมีคนสองคน
 had been killed. เสียชีวิต
 As he looked at อีตอนที่เขามองไปที่
the wreckage ซากรถยนต์ที่ยับเยิน
a little monkey มีลิงตัวน้อยๆ
came out of โผล่ออกมาจาก
the brush ซากเศษเหล็ก
( brush บรัช แปลว่าแปรง แสลงในเรื่องนี้ แปลว่า ซากเศษเหล็ก หรือ scrape metal ) 
and hopped around แล้วก็กระโดดไปมารอบๆ
the crashed car. รถที่ชนกันจนพังยับเยินนั้น 
The officer ตํารวจ
looked down ก้มมอง
at the monkey ไปที่ลิงตัวนั้น
and said, แล้วก็พูดว่า 
"I wish you could talk." ฉันอยากจะให้แกพูดได้จัง 
The monkey ลิงตัวนั้น
looked up แหงนหน้ามอง
at the officer ไปที่ตํารวจ
 and nodded his head. แล้วก็พยักหน้า
( nodded his head ผงกหัวของมัน ) 
‘You can understand  แกสามารถเข้าใจ
what I’m saying?’ อะไรๆที่ฉันพูดไปทั้งนั้นหรือ
asked the officer. ตํารวจถาม
 Again, แล้วก็อีกนั่นแหละ
the monkey nodded. ลิงตัวนั้นพยักหน้า
‘Well, เอาละ
did you see แกได้เห็นแล้วใช่มั๊ย
what happened?’ ว่ามันเกิดอะไรขึ้น
The monkey nodded. ไอ้จ๋อ พยักหน้า
 He pretended to มันทําท่าเหมือนว่า
have a can มีกระป๋อง (เบียร์ )
 in his hand ในมือ
and turned it up แล้วก็กระดกมัน
 to his mouth. ใส่ปาก
"They were drinking?" พวกนี้กําลังดื่ม ( ของมึนเมา ) 
asked the officer. ตํารวจถาม
The monkey nodded. ไอ้จ๋อพยักหน้า
The monkey then จากนั้นไอ้จ๋อ
pinched his fingers together ก็เอานิ้วมาบีบกัน
  and held them แล้วก็ยกมัน
 to his mouth, ไปที่ปาก
sucking deeply. ดูดอย่างลึกและแรง ( ซี๊ด)
‘They were smoking พวกนั้นกําลัง
 marijuana too?’ ดูดกัญชาอีกด้วยเหรอ
asked the officer. ตํารวจถาม
The monkey nodded. ไอ้จ๋อพยักหน้า
He made มันทําท่า
a sexual sign สัญลักษณ์ของการร่วมเพศ
with his fingers. ด้วยนิ้วของมัน
‘So they were พวกนี้ยังมีการ
playing around เล่นจํ้าจี้มะเขือเปาะ ( เนื้อจิ้มเนื้อ)
as well!?’ อีกด้วยหรือ
 asked the astounded officer. ตํารวจที่กําลังงงเป็นไก่ตาแตกถาม
Again, แล้วก็เช่นเดิม
the monkey nodded. ไอ้จ๋อพยักหน้า
‘Now wait, เดี๋ยวก่อนๆ
you’re saying มึงบอกว่า
your owners เจ้านายมึง
were drinking, ดื่มเหล้า
smoking ดูดกัญชา
and playing around แล้วก็ยังเล่นเนื้อจิ้มเนื้อ
 before ก่อนที่
they wrecked the car?’  พวกมันจะสบั้นรถคันนั้น
The monkey nodded. ไอ้จ๋อพยักหน้า
‘What were you doing แล้วมึงกําลังทําอะไร
 during all this?’ ระหว่างที่เกิดเหตุทั้งหมดนี้
asked the officer. ตํารวจถาม
The monkey ไอ้จ๋อ
 held up his hands  ยกมือทั้งสองข้างขึ้นมา
 on an imaginary steering wheel. ถือพวงมาลัยรถ ที่มันสร้างจินตณาการ ขึ้นมา
