A LONG TALE
A man takes his wife and his little boy to the circus. After
a while, the dad gets up to get a beer, and the ringmaster
parades the elephants out.
“Mummy! What’s that long, pointy thing under the
elephant’s belly?” the kid asks.

Mum turns red and says,  nothing, dear.” The dad comes back with his beer and sits down next to his boy. Then the mum gets up and goes to the toilet.
“Dad, what’s that long, pointy thing under the elephant’s

belly?” the kid asks again.
“That’s its penis,” he says.
“But Mum said it was nothing,” says the boy.
The dad pats him on the head and says, “Son, I’ve spoiled that woman...”

A man ชายคนหนึ่ง
takes ได้พา
his wife ภรรยาของเขา
and his little boy พร้อมทั้งลูกชายตัวน้อยๆ
to the circus. ไปชมลครสัตว์
After a while, ผ่านไปได้สักพักหนึ่ง
the dad คุณพ่อคนนี้ 
gets up ก็ยืนขึ้น
 to get a beer, เพื่อที่จะไปซื้อเบียร์
and the ringmaster และก็เป็นเวลาเดียวที่ ริงม๊าสเตอร์ หรือผู้นําลครสัตว์
parades เดินนําขบวน
the elephants out. ช้างออกมา
“Mummy! แม่ครับ
What’s that long, อะไรที่มันยาวๆ
 pointy thing ที่ยื่นออกมา
under ใต้ท้อง
the elephant’s belly?” ช้างตัวนั้น
the kid asks. ไอ้หนูถาม

Mum คุณแม่
turns red หน้าเปลี่ยนเป็นสีแดง
and says, แล้วก็บอกว่า
 nothing, dear.” ไม่มีอะไรหรอกลูกรัก
The dad คุณพ่อ
comes back กลับมา
with his beer พร้อมกับเบียร์
and sits down แล้วก็นั่งลง
next to his boy.ข้างลูกชาย
 Then จากนั้น
the mum คุณแม่
gets up ก็ลุกขึ้น
and แล้วก็
goes ไป
to the toilet. ห้องส้วม
“Dad, พ่อครับ
what’s  อะไร 
that long, ที่มันยาวๆ
 pointy thing ยื่นออกมา 
under ใต้
the elephant’s belly?” ท้องช้าง
the kid ไอ้หนู
asks again. ก็ถามขึ้นมาอีก

“That’s its penis,” นั่นเค้าเรียกคางช้วย
( penis พีหนิส แปลว่า อวัยวะสืบพันธ์เพศชาย) 
he says. พ่อบอก
“But แต่ว่า
Mum said คุณแม่บอกว่า
 it was nothing,” ไม่มีอะไร 
says the boy. ไอ้หนูบอก
The dad คุณพ่อ 
 pats him on the head แตะหัวไอ้หนูเบาๆ
 and says, แล้วก็บอกว่า 
 “Son, ลูกเอ๊ย 
I’ve spoiled that woman...” พ่อเอาใจผู้หญิงคนนี้จนเหลิงไปหมดแล้ว 

(  nothing น๊อตติ้ง แปลว่า ไม่มีอะไร แปลว่า บ่อมิไก๊ ก็ได้)
