ANTHONY
is sitting in the back of a taxi, and wants to get the driver’s attention. He
leans forward and taps the cabbie on the shoulder.
The driver almost jumps out of his skin, screams, rides up the pavement and
stops only inches from a glass shopfront and several pedestrians.
There’s a moment of silence, then the driver says, “Mate, never do that again.
You really scared me —
I
could have killed someone!”
“I’m sorry,” says his passenger. “I never expected a little tap on the shoulder
would make you do that.”
It s only my first day behind the wheel of a taxi,” explains the driver. “For
the past
10 years, I drove a hearse.”

การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ ต้องช่วยตัวเองให้มากที่สุด..บรรดาอาจารย์ไทย แต่ละคนทําแต่สิ่งที่ง่ายๆ คือไปลอกไวยากรณ์มา ไปแปลคําศัพท์ ทําดิ๊กชั่นนารี่ ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องง่ายมาก ..แต่จะไม่มีใครเอาเรื่องมาแปล แล้วทําให้รู้ว่า คําศัพท์คํานั้น อยู่ตรงใหน จะแปลว่าอะไร รู้ศัพท์แต่ก็ใช้ไม่เป็นไม่มีประโยชน์อะไร ..ต้องมีประสพการณ์ ในการใช้ จึงจะถูกต้อง ..
..เรื่องแบบนี้ พวกด๊อกเตอร์ไทย อาจารย์ไทยจะทําไม่ได้ ถ้าไอ้พวกนี้ทําได้ ป่านนี้คนไทยเก่งเหมือนคนสิงคโปร์ไปแล้ว...เก่งแต่พูดไทยคําอังกฤษคําเพื่ออวดความรู้ ..ผมจะเสียที่ไม่ค่อยมีเวลาเท่านั้น
