ไอ้จังไร

ก่อนจะอ่านเรื่องนี้ ต้องรู้คำศัพท์พวกนี้ก่อน คือ  bastard  ที่แปลว่า ความรู้สึกแบบไทยๆ คือ ไอ้จังไร และ bitch ที่แปลว่า แม่หมาตัวเมีย ในที่นี้แปลความรู้สึกแบบไทยๆ จะไปตรงกับคำว่า ดอกทอง หรือหญิงสำส่อนนั่นเอง

Bad conduct
              Young billy received a new train set for his birthday and played with it non-stop, pretending to be conductor and ordering his “passengers” around.
His mum watched fondly as Billy stopped the train at the station, before announcing loudly, “All you bastards who wanna get off here, get off. All of you bastards who wanna stay on, stay on!”
              Startled, she stormed over and yelled, “How dare you use language like that in this house! Go to your room now and stay there for two hours! I don’t ever want to hear that word out of your mouth again!”
            After his two hours were up, Billy was allowed to return to his train set, but with his mum carefully listening in from the kitchen to make sure her little boy was obeying her instructions.
          After a while he quietly announced, “All the people who would like to get off here, get off. All the people who would like to stay on, stay on.”
            Billy’s mum was feeling very pleased with herself until he added, “And if you were wondering about the two-hour delay, just ask the bitch in the kitchen!”

Bad conduct ถ้าเราเปิดกูเกิ๊ล จะบอกว่านิสัยไม่ดี อันนี้ก็ถูก พ่อเป็นตัวอย่างไม่ดี ก็ใช่ ..แต่อย่าไปจำแบบนั้นเลย มันแคบไป ยังแปลได้อีกหลายอย่างเช่นกระเป๋ารถไฟ หรือคนที่คอยดูแลคนขึ้นลง สั่งออกรถเมื่อทุกอย่างเรียบร้อย หรือคนตรวจตั๋วรถเมล์ พวกนี้เรียกว่า operator หรือ conductor

 and played แล้วก็เล่น

 with it non-stop, กับมัน ไม่ยอมเลิก

 pretending to be  วางฟอร์มเลียนแบบว่าเป็น

at the station, ที่สถานี

announcing loudly, ประกาศเสียงดัง

“All you bastards  ไอ้พวกจังไรทั้งหลาย

 who wanna ที่ต้องการ

 get off here, ลงที่นี่

 get off. ก็ไสหัวไปได้เลย

All of you bastards  ไอ้พวกจังไร

 who wanna ที่ต้องการ

stay on, ไปต่อ

stay on!” ก็ไปต่อ
              Startled, ตกใจ

she stormed over หล่อนพรวดเข้าไปหา

and yelled, แล้วก็ตวาด

“How dare you แกถือดียังไง

use language พูด

 like that แบบนั้น

 in this house! ในบ้านนี้

Go to your room  เข้าไปในห้องแก

now เดี๋ยวนี้

and stay there แล้วก็อยู่ในนั้นอย่าออกมา

for two hours! สองชั่วโมง

I don’t ever want ฉันไม่ต้องการ

 to hear  ได้ยิน

that word คำพูดแบบนั้น

out of your mouth again!” ออกมาจากปากแกอีก
            After his two hours  หลังจากสองชั่วโมงของบิลลี่

 were up, ผ่านไป

Billy was allowed บิลลี่ก็ได้รับอนุญาต

to return to ให้กลับมา

 his train set, เล่นรถไฟต่อ

but แต่ว่า

with his mum มีแม่

 carefully listening in คอยเงี่ยหูฟัง

 from the kitchen จากในครัว

to make sure เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่า

 her little boy ลูกชายตัวน้อยๆของเธอ

was obeying เชื่อฟัง

 her instructions. คำสั่งของเธอ
          After a while ครู่หนึ่งผ่านไป

he quietly announced, ไอ้หนูก็ประกาศแบบนิ่มนวล

“All the people ท่านผู้โดยสารทั้งหลาย ( all the pasenger)

 who would like to ที่ปราถนา

get off here, ที่จะลงที่นี่

get off. กรุณาลงได้ (  please do )

 All the people ผู้โดยสาร

who would like ที่ปราถนา

to stay on,จะไปต่อ

 stay on.” ก็เชิญไปต่อ
            Billy’s mum แม่ของบิลลี่

was feeling รู้สึก

very pleased with herself ชื่นอกชึ่นใจ

until he added, มาจนกระทั่งบิลลี่พูดขึ้นอีกว่า

“And if you ถ้าหากว่าคุณ

were wondering ข้องใจ

 about the two-hour delay, เกี่ยวกับการเสียเวลาไปสองชั่วโมง

just ask ก็ให้ถาม
