เรื่องอันดับที่ 179

        การสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษโอกาศที่จะเข้าใจผิดมีง่ายดูเรื่องนี้เป็นตัวอย่าง

 Penguin       

A cop pulled over a man who
wasdriving a car filled
with penguins. “Sir, you can’t have all
these penguins in your car,” the
officer said to the driver. “You must
take them to the zoo right now.”
        The man agreed and, the cop let him go. The nextday,thecoppulled
over the same man with the same penguins in his car. When he approached the vehicle, he noticed the penguins were wearing sunglasses.

       “Sir, I distinctly remember telling you yesterday to take these penguins to the zoo.” “I did,” replied the man. “Today, we’re going to the beach.”

 

Penguin    เพนกวิ๊น   

A cop pulled over a man  ตำรวจเรียกชายคนหนึ่งให้หยุด

who wasdriving a car ไอ้นี่กำลังขับรถ

filled with penguins. ที่มีเพนกวินเต็มคันรถ

“Sir, คุณ

 you can’t have คุณไม่มีสิทธิ์ที่จะให้

all these penguins นกเพนกวิ๊น เหล่านี้

 in your car,” อยู่ในรถคุณ

the officer said to the driver. ตำรวจพูดกับชายคนขับรถ

“You must take  คุณต้องพา

them to the zoo right now.” พวกมันไปสวนสัตว์เดี๋ยวนี้
        The man agreed ชายคนนั้นก็รับคำ

and, the cop let him go. แล้วตำรวจก็ปล่อยเค้าไป

The nextday, วันต่อมา

The cop pulled over the same man ตำรวจก็เรียกรถคันเก่า คนขับก็คนเก่าให้หยุด

 with the same penguins รถคันนั้นก็มี

เพนกวิ๊นหน้าเดิมๆ

in his car. อยู่ในรถ

When he approached เมื่อตํารวจเดินเข้าไปใกล้

 the vehicle, รถ

he noticed ก็สังเกตุเห็นว่า

the penguins เพนกวินเหล่านั้น

were wearing sunglasses. ใส่แว่นตากันแดดทุกตัว

       “Sir, คุณ

 I distinctly remember  ผมจำได้อย่างแม่นยำว่าผม

 telling you yesterday  บอกคุณเมื่อวานนี้

to take these penguins to the zoo.” ให้คุณพา

เพนกวิ๊นพวกนี้ไปสวนสัตว์

 “I did,” ผมพามันไปมาแล้ว

replied the man. ชายคนนั้นตอบ

 “Today, วันนี้

we’re going to the beach.” พวกเราจะไปชายหาดกัน
